A FILM BY A LOT OF PEOPLE..
Based on a true story. Four Teenage friends are living their regular life in the village of Agia, Assam. Certain turn of events lead them to rethink their life’s purpose. They must choose between taking the path of peace or violence.
The film was made based on a true story written by Manjit Nath on a blog, ‘From Agia to Oxford’ in a short story format. It took about a month to convert the story in a screenplay and then shooting began in Assam. Initially, the plan was to shoot for 15 days and come back.
After narrating the film to Sukracharya Rabha, his suggestions and keenness gave an altogether different dimension to the film. Adil Hussain agreed to play the role of Tultul’s father which was a pivotal role in the movie. 70% of the film was completed before we came back due to the lack of funds. The film completed a year later by raising money from a crowdfunding campaign. Started in July 2013, it completed by April 2015.
